Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visiting patients admitted to the ICU ward is only possible on a case-by-case basis and in consultation with the patient, their family and the ICU Supervisor.

Your Profile: As an Intensive care Unit (ICU) Nurse, you work closely with Specialists to deliver intensive and critical care to patients. You are well-versed in evaluating intensive care patients, administering care, recognizing complications, and coordinating with other members of the critical care team.

SMMC has started the construction of the new St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH) to expand its services in order to accommodate the increased care demand of the people of St. Maarten, its visitors, and neighboring islands. The new hospital is planned to be operational in 2023.
