St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) hosted its annual Women’s Health Day in collaboration with the Positive Foundation and the Elektralytes Foundation, which saw 150 women being screened for breast cancer. Attendees received free clinical breast exams, carried out by SMMC’s medical specialists and local General Practitioners. SMMC and the partnered foundations also provided vouchers for up to 100 free mammograms for uninsured women.

St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) is proud to welcome Urologist, Dr. Francisco Pinto to its Urology team. Dr. Pinto joins SMMC Urologists, Dr. Ramos and Dr. Rojas, bringing the number of resident Urologists in-service to three; further enhancing healthcare to the community of St. Maarten and surrounding islands.

As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, St. Maarten SMMC is proud to announce a community clean-up of the Little Bay Pond in partnership with the St. Maarten Nature Foundation.

On Saturday, September 27th, St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC), in collaboration with the Positive and Elektralytes Foundations, hosted its annual Men’s Health Day, providing free health screenings for 150 men.
